Position:
Desktop Technicians Wanted
Location: Houston/Austin/Dallas/San Anonio
Description:
Possess an outgoing, friendly personality,
an eagerness to learn, and a strong
desire to excel. Must have the confidence
to consult with the clients and manage
other consultants. Must be able to
effectively adjust to changing environments
and situations.
Job tasks are predominately desktop support for ongoing clients. Desktop position needed is road warrior professional(s) which would require 90% travel around the United States.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associated Degree in computer related field or equivalent experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven problem solving skills; solid analytical skills to troubleshoot complex, and technical
problems.
- Maintain, Analyze, Troubleshoot, and Repair Computer Hardware and Software.
- Microsoft OS Systems (2000, XP, Vista, 7, 20003, 2008).
- Microsoft Exchange (2003, 2007, 2010).
- Linux OS w/ Apache (a Plus).
- LAN set‐up and maintenance.
- Knowledge of VPN technologies.
- Ability to review all server, network, desktop, and various other system logs; identify and
resolve issues.
- Maintain hardware and software across a host of client environments.
- Provide onsite and remote help desk support to end users.
- Support and Maintain user account information including Active Directory accounts.
- Experience working in a team‐oriented, collaborative environment.
